MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Cincinnati Bengals left tackle Andrew Whitworth is inactive for Thursday night’s game against the Miami Dolphins because of a right knee injury & will be replaced by Anthony Collins.

Whitworth, who had been questionable, was injure in Sunday’s victory over the New York Jets.

Bengals backup linebacker Michael Boley is inactive because of a hamstring injury.

AP source: Martin out with emotional issues

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami Dolphins tackle Jonathan Martin left the team this week to receive professional assistance for emotional issues, a person familiar with the situation said, & was ruled out of Thursday night's game against Cincinnati.

Martin was with relatives, & his issues didn't involve any problems with the coaching staff, the person said. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Dolphins have said not released any details of the illness.

Martin, 24, played in Sunday's loss at New England, then missed practice this week. He was replaced by Tyson Clabo, who started Miami's first six games before being benched.

Dolphins RT Martin doubtful against Bengals

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Miami right tackle Jonathan Martin is doubtful for the Dolphins’ game Thursday night against Cincinnati because of illness, signaling a likely alter in the offensive line for the second consecutive week.

Martin would be replaced by Tyson Clabo, who was benched a week ago after the Dolphins traded for tackle Bryant McKinnie. Pass protection has been a problem all season for Miami, & Ryan Tannehill has been sacked an NFL-high 32 times.

Martin hasn’t practiced this week. Backup tight end Dion Sims moreover is doubtful because of a toe injury.
