MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Laurent Blanc has one fundamental goal with Paris Saint-Germain: win the Champions League.

March 7 (Reuters) – Chelsea must channel their anger properly & focus of being 'tough underdogs' when they host French champions Paris St Germain in the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie on Wednesday, manager Guus Hiddink has said.

The Blues will need to turn around a 2-1 deficit from their first leg loss at Parc des Princes last month to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

"We are not the favourites. We have regained confidence & have quality yet PSG can rest five, six or seven players," Hiddink told British media.

PSG focus on Chelsea ahead of Montpellier visit

Paris (AFP) – Paris Saint-Germain head into Saturday's clash at home to a resurgent Montpellier with most eyes firmly fixated on next week's return leg at Chelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League.

PSG rebounded from losing their 46-game unbeaten domestic run at Lyon last weekend by remaining on course to defend their French Cup crown after beating Saint-Etienne 3-1 in midweek.

However, victory at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard potentially came at a cost with midfielder Blaise Matuidi facing a race against time to be fit for Wednesday's trip to Stamford Bridge.

Resurgent Guingamp next test for stalling PSG

Paris (AFP) – Paris Saint-Germain will aim to reassert their authority at the top of Ligue 1 on Tuesday against a revitalised Guingamp after two straight draws have seen the chasing pack reduce the reigning champions' lead to a single point.

Following a 2-2 draw with Bordeaux last time out, PSG needed a late equaliser from leading scorer Edinson Cavani, who notched his fifth goal of the season, to rescue a point away to surprise package Reims on Saturday.

"They've dropped points recently yet they're still a very strong side & we'll try our best, yet we know that with Paris it depends a lot on them," said Guingamp coach Jocelyn Gourvennec, whose side have won their last three matches after starting the season with three straight defeats.
