COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The NFL says it is reviewing domestic violence allegations against Dallas Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott.

A police report says Elliott denied allegations that he assaulted his girlfriend early Friday in Columbus, Ohio, causing bruises & abrasions. The report says he wasn't arrested because of conflicting versions of what happened.

Three witnesses told police they didn't see Elliott assault the 20-year-old woman. Elliott says the woman received the bruises & abrasions in a bar fight.

Green Bay Packers apply to host NFL draft in '19, '20 or '21

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers would like to host the NFL Draft in the league's smallest market.

Team President Mark Murphy told stockholders at their annual meeting Thursday that the Packers have applied to host the draft in 2019, 2020 or 2021. The last two drafts have been held in Chicago after years of being held in New York City.

Murphy said hotel rooms could be an issue, though many fans attending Packers games typically stay within an hour's drive of Lambeau Field, or even more than two hours away in Milwaukee. The Packers had moreover applied to host next year's draft, Murphy told reporters after the meeting, though he indicated that Green Bay wasn't a contender.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison said in an affidavit sent to the NFL that he never met nor communicated with the source of a media report that linked him & other players to the use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Harrison has insisted that league officials have to provide ''credible evidence'' before he agrees to an interview. The NFL Players Association sent a letter on Harrison's behalf along with the signed affidavit to NFL executive Adolpho Birch on Monday.

''Neither the CBA nor the Policy state that a player must agree to an in-person interview based upon random, baseless verbal remarks or face discipline for a failure to cooperate with a league investigation,'' union attorney Heather M. McPhee wrote.
