ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan says it was encouraging to see safety Aaron Williams report to the team's facility on Monday, a day after the player sustained a neck injury.

Ryan says Williams wore a neck brace & is still feeling stiff & sore after being examined & released from the hospital on Sunday.

Though tests revealed the injury wasn't serious, Ryan says it's ''probably a stretch'' to expect Williams to play in Buffalo's game at Miami on Sunday.

Pumped for Patriots: Bills store pokes pleasant at scandal

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — With the Patriots coming to Buffalo, the Bills are pumped in all ways.

At the front of their team store is a large display prominently featuring air pumps, a comic touch for a New England team embroiled in a football deflation scandal the past year.

Bills coach Rex Ryan said Friday he was unaware of the display. He calls it ''interesting,'' yet he clearly has other things on his mind. The Bills & Patriots meet Sunday after having won their season openers.

Revolution-Toronto FC Preview

Revolution-Toronto FC Preview

The New England Revolution again appear to be peaking at the right time, though they've been unable to separate from Toronto FC in the Eastern Conference race.

Toronto has a chance to pull even with the surging Revolution in the standings when the clubs meet Sunday, yet may have to play without its top scorer.

New England (11-9-7) brings a season-high four-game win streak into BMO Field & is 5-0-1 over its last six. The Revs enter Sunday's key match fourth in the East, within striking distance of first place & 10 points clear of being out of playoff position.
