LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson injure his left hamstring in the first quarter against Miami & will not return.

The injury occurred on the first play of Washington's second series Sunday. Jackson went deep down the right sideline & was overthrown. He clutched the back of his leg after the pass fell incomplete.

Jackson received treatment on the sideline, & the team determined he would not be healthy enough to continue.

Several Rams players wrote the words ''I Can't Breathe'' on their equipment Sunday, displaying the message before & during a 24-0 win over the Washington Redskins.

Jackson is listed as inactive for Sunday's game because of a bruised left shin after not practicing all week. He leads the Redskins with 942 yards receiving & tops the NFL at 20 yards per catch.

The Redskins are moreover without safety Brandon Meriweather & inside linebacker Keenan Robinson. Meriweather has a sprained huge toe, & Robinson has a sprained MCL in his left knee.

Russell Wilson rushed for a career-high 122 yards on 11 carries, & the Seahawks survived their ''neutral zone infractions,'' holds, false starts & other miscues in a 27-17 win over the Redskins, extending Seattle's tradition of dominance in prime time while handing Washington another deflating moment under the lights.

Wilson moreover completed 18 of 24 passes for 201 yards with two touchdowns for the Seahawks (3-1), who displayed an uncharacteristic lack of crispness coming off their bye. Seattle committed 13 penalties for 90 yards, including a holding, false start & unsportsmanlike conduct calls that wiped out three potential touchdowns by Percy Harvin.

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Robert Griffin III departed with his left ankle in a splint, & DeSean Jackson walked off gingerly supporting his left arm & shoulder Sunday in the first quarter of the Washington Redskins' game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Redskins announced that neither would return.

Griffin was injure while making an acrobatic, leaping, across-the-body throw near the sideline while being pursued by linebacker Paul Posluszny. Griffin landed awkwardly on his ankle as he finished the throw & then tumbled out of bounds. The pass was caught by Jackson for an 11-yard gain.
