Soccer-Neymar different class, yet Dunga focuses on team

TEMUCO, June 14 (Reuters) – Neymar scored the first, made the second & was named 'man of the match' in Brazil's 2-1 Copa America win over Peru on Sunday, yet coach Dunga preferred to focus on the team's performance rather than the number 10's individual brilliance.

The combative Brazil coach made three changes in the second half, the most telling of which was in the 65th minute when he replaced centre forward Diego Tardelli with Douglas Costa, who scored the winner in the third minute of injury time.

"Neymar was decisive yet Dani Alves was decisive, Miranda was decisive at certain moments, Douglas Costa was decisive," Dunga told reporters after the game.

Soccer-Luis Enrique backs Alves ahead of contract decision

BARCELONA, Feb 27 (Reuters) – Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has given strong public backing to fullback Dani Alves, suggesting he wants the Brazil international to remain at the club beyond the end of this season.

Alves is yet to agree an extension to his contract, which expires in June, raising the possibility the 31-year-old will leave the club he joined from La Liga rivals Sevilla in July 2008.

Alves came under fire this week for reacting angrily when he was substituted in the second half of Tuesday's Champions League victory at Manchester City yet Luis Enrique had nothing yet praise for him on Friday.

BARCELONA (Reuters) – Barcelona forward Neymar has failed to recover from a minor ankle problem & will not be available for Tuesday's King's Cup last-32, second leg at home to third-tier Huesca, coach Luis Enrique said on Monday.

Neymar missed Barca's 0-0 La Liga draw at Getafe on Saturday & has been joined on the sidelines by Brazil team mate Dani Alves, who has a hamstring strain.
