London (AFP) – Son Heung-min was Tottenham's hero once again as the South Korean's first Premier League goal clinched a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Son had scored twice on his home debut in Tottenham's Europa League victory against Qarabag of Azerbaijan on Thursday & the forward's dream start continued as he was the toast of White Hart Lane just three days later.

The 23-year-old settled a hard-fought encounter midway through the second half to donate Mauricio Pochettino's side their first home league win of the season.

London (AFP) – Tony Pulis is reported to have left Crystal Palace by mutual consent in a shock move prompted by disagreements over the Premier League club's transfer policy, according to reports on Thursday.

Eagles boss Pulis had grown frustrated by Palace's failure to push through deals for various players he targeted to strengthen the squad & several media outlets reported he had parted ways with the south London club following showdown talks with co-chairman Steve Parish.

The 56-year-old's reported exit comes less than 48 hours before Palace kick off their Premier League campaign with a daunting fixture against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

April 28 (Reuters) – Time is running out for the survival-seeking Premier League strugglers Cardiff City & Fulham, yet both believe six points from their remaining two games might still be enough to avoid the drop.

Cardiff fell to the bottom of the table after suffering a 4-0 defeat at fellow strugglers Sunderland on Sunday, while Fulham threw away the chance to obtain out of the relegation zone when they let slip a 2-0 lead & could only draw at home to Hull City.

Sunderland's victory allowed them to escape the relegation places & they sit in 17th on 32 points having played a game less than the current bottom three of Norwich City (32), Fulham (31) & Cardiff (30).

London (AFP) – Fulham overwhelmed fellow Premier League strugglers Norwich 3-0 at Craven Cottage to move into the fourth round of the FA Cup on Tuesday.

Former England striker Darren Bent scored Fulham's opener before setting up Ashkan Dejagah's decisive second goal as Norwich's winless run stretched to eight matches.

Steve Sidwell scored Fulham's third goal shortly before the hour to leave the Cottagers with a fourth round tie against third tier Sheffield United.
