''She's getting really good,'' Espinoza said. ''Before her biggest problem was that she was so tense & she wanted to go as swift as she could yet she was doing it tensed up. She's learned how to relax & save more for the end. She's so fast. I have to sit on her & just take a hold of that mane because she comes out of there like a rocket.''

The victory, worth $47,580, increased Shh She's Ours' career earnings to $176,790, with five wins in nine starts.

In the $75,000 McCann's Mojave Handicap, Soi Phet took the lead into the clubhouse turn & went on to a 2 1/2-length victory.

Ridden by Kent Desormeaux, Soi Phet ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:40.80 & paid $5.80, $3.20 & $2.10 as the 9-5 favorite.

Avanti Bello returned $3.40 & $2.40, while El Huerfano was another 5 1/2 lengths back in third & paid $2.40 to show.
